So I went to see Third Day last night in London. And they were amazing. They truly rocked the place, and they were phenomenally good musicians.
But the most amazing thing about the concert was that, in amongst all the great tunes, guitar solos and stage lights was clearly the presence of Jesus. They made no attempt to play down their love of God at all, and in fact made it the most important part of the night. They had a time of communal prayer during one of the songs, and it was incredibly powerful.
It’s amazing and important to realise that worship doesn’t just happen in a church on Sunday with some worship songs. These guys rocked the place, had a great time and played some great music, all whilst keeping Jesus at the centre of everything that they did. I find that an amazing thing, and they really are following the calling God has placed on their lives.
